Hi guys,
I want to do a custom install in my 1992 850i and I have been researching on high end components and need some clarification on specs. I am yet to purchase all the items with the exception of the HU which I have.

Head Unit

My question:

Which Subwoofer W3v3-? would my amplifier be able to work with?

Would the 4 channel amplifier be okay as well?

Your sub amp is stable down to 1ohm so either the 2ohm or 4ohm JL will work.

However I would go with the 2ohm as it has the highest peak and your amp says it can put out 800 rms at 2 ohh and the peak for the 2ohm JL is 1000 watts

I'm by no means an expert in this subject, but I can point you in the right direction if you're in for some good reading about car audio.

www.the12volt.com is a great site for this type of thing, and probably more active than our sub-forum here.
