I know I did this a long time ago, like a year ago when I first got the car, but I thought I'd show you what the car looked like when I bought it.

that's freakin clean !

especially the center console !

cant wait till I finish up the cleanup of my interior/center console. this rubberized coating is all scratching like hell on mine, I plan on stripping it and repainting flat black.

That is one SICK M5... since I've saw it at Bimmercruise last year I've been drooling over it...

Gamite, is your ZHP shifter knob illumiated?? Do you mind telling me where you got it?? How much do they usually go for??

Thanks

No, I didn't know about the illuminated mod til after I changed it. I got it form Tischer BMW, but you can get it from the dealer here.

mr clean magic eraser. But people said you have to be careful since it wears down the leather? I don't know. You can also use woolite/water. I heard Orangeglo works too.

For my wheel I used some random stain remover diluted with water. 2 mins of scrubbing with a wash cloth and the M stitching pops right back out.

Nice nice. I asked because most of us think it's a new M wheel.

Looks awesome!! I am guessing it is just the lighting in the pics but the trim looks purplish~

How do you like the knob

Gamite
05-06-2009, 10:26 PM
Yea, the trim looks different in different light. There is actually a brushed grain in there, but you cannot see it in that light.

The knob is really good, I love it. Probably one of the best BMW knobs you can buy.

Where did you get the graphite trim and how much (if you don't mind my asking)?

I'm planning to get an E39 eventually but I can't stand wood trim...

Gamite
