That's really strange. If you stall it, will they go from non-working to working?

I would think they would just be running on ACC power; I am not aware of any leads in the car that supply power only when the car is running other than the trigger 12V+ for the fuel pump relay.

Hard to say in your machine since no harness is likely original, right? More details on your harness, etc might help.

ya thats whats weird. the only thing im wired into in from the engine plug. about 10 wires from the plug next to the fuse box go into the engine. huh, well i guess i keep playing around with it

Long shot, but maybe there is a bad connection or something that without the higher voltage of the car running, the windows don't get enough current to move? Seems unlikely but possible I suppose.

thats weird, I dont have my schematics with me right now, but easy thing to check is with a meter plugged into the +ve in one of your switches and watch what the voltage changes to as you go through the different key ign positions, and when its running. Should have 12V only in the on position with engine on or off. if its below that when the engine is on, you might have a short in a related circuit. Check your wiring diagrams and see if you can find other devices that dont work when the engine is on.

I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT IS!!!!!

Attach a wire to the blk/grn wire going to the small starter terminal(8mm) and ground it to the starter. You can ground it anywhere lol but the starter is closest. Hope you can reach the starter....

report back happy :)

Why would this issue arise though?
