How Much Is It Worth? E30 CABI

I have a buddy who has a 91 318 ic for sale...

it is hit in the rear end...trunk,bumper,rebar,and valance are gone. There is also some frame damage.

The car is all original with 138k km's.
Full tan interior in prefect condition...BRAND NEW id say
Rest of the body is in good shape with almost no rust.
The convertible top is also in very good condition besides a tear in the rear plastic.

It is 5 speed and it starts and runs like a charm.

How much is it worth?He asked me to give him an offer. The damage is about $1500 dollars estimate.

i was thinking of getting it for a parts car as my cabi needs alot of parts.

Most of the mechanical parts you need likely can come from any E30. The cabby specific parts are interior seats/panels, doors and fenders, roof, trunk panels, and trunk lid (only if you want the third brake light. The rest is all the same as any E30.

Some rough ideas on prices (I may be off here and there)

Truly mint cabby interior ~ $400-$500
Rust Free Doors ~ $75 ea
Rust Free Fenders ~ $100 ea
Power Top Frame / Motor ~ $250
Perfect Roof ~ $350

For me - wouldn't pay more than $800 for it, but that's me. If you need multiple items on the list it may be worth more to you.

for an accident car that sounds decent i know a guy selling one ( its sitting on his properety) for 2 years its a cali car needs pain and a top and probly a new carpet and seats he said he would take 1,500 for it.. the tops are about 1000 i was told**new.i might go see him with 1,200 in hand this summer.....:)

the verts have a 4.27 diff, which are hard to find, harder if its an lsd, so good idea to grab it for a parts car just for the diff!!!
