Just currious, I just picked up a SC kit from AA, I need to send them my ECU for Tuning...
Will i be hit with Duty charges again????
If so that seems like BS, any way around it?
Ship as warranty work or something?

ya man I got hit on my headers from AA and when I sent the tune I got hit aswell... damn custom people... AA actully reduced the headers to 200$ value the first time and the customs people sent it back so I had to wait almost 2 weeks to get my headers back and my car was just sitting there whie I waited for the damn headers...

I sent my chip to AA in Miami for tune. Having said that give MarkD a call he is a member on this forum. Does a great job and if you have any problem he is local.

I;ve also heard, if you mark it as ""repair under warranty" its excused from duty

I shiped mine several times to AA. They have a form on there website.
You must ship it maked as repair, not for sale.

I always mark as "Used Car Part's" in the description first before I list them induvidualy in the customs form.
Custums dude just needs that to pass it through and on it's way with no additional costs, that and provided they do not see a ECU in orginal BMW packaging all shiny and new.
