To my knowledge, this car has had some damage to the front right side. When I took ownership of it, I made sure it was completely repaired. I've had this car for almost 15 years now and have not had any problems or accidents with it. I regularly maintain it and mainly use it for short drives (I've never taken this car to the track, hence the snow tires). Last year I gave it a new paint job to refreshen the original black colour.

Just out of curiousity, how much were E30 M3's worth 15 years ago?

Any maintenance work done to the engine? I seem to recall these cars need the timing chain tensioner replaced...or something like that.

I'm having a heck of a time finding an automatic. If slush boxes are so difficult to find, 5-speed must be really really rare. :-)

Well he means the car is a collector type car, and is very rare... :P

Im sure people who own E30 M3's or are looking to buy one these days, know exactly what they are all about.

There's an article in a current car mag (memory escapes me which glossy specifically), which lists several recent vehicles as potential collectibles. The E30 M3 was the first car highlighted. The article also pointed out the early RX-7 and Miata as targets. OTOH, the editorial was lame in also choosing the Integra (!!!), but at the same time questioned whether it had any future as a collectible (why bother pointing it out then?). Glanced quickly thru and didn't read all the reasoning behind their choices, but some of you might want to read further if passing a mag stand.

The article mentioned is in some UK magazine and its about some great deals on used cars in this day and age. They point out the E30 as a strong contender. As well, they point out the Integra Type R for some of its characteristics.

yup, E30's are a lot of fun.

They list the Type R because it is one of the most successful race cars of the late 90s. Just as the E30 M3 was in the late 80s. *th-up*
