niks325i

The reason for the low price is the S14 not being in the car anymore and the interior is quite bad. The car has great track potential, or if someone wants to spend a bunch of money and restore it, you could go that route too. I will respond to all inquiries, but it may take me until this evening. Thanks for the interest.

lol nope.

The basic premise is that to bring an E30 M3 to good condition will cost you about $18k, whether you buy the car cheap and put money into it or buy it for $18k with nothing to do.

exactly thats why tracking it would make sense cause u might keep cost down if u are tracking cars and have most parts already

Basically, the price is $3250 as is. It ran in fall but kept stalling before I parked it. I would try and get it running again so that it could be driven on and off a trailer for shipping.

Based on the pictures this looks like it was a bad conversion from an old e30... Does the VIN truly corespond to an e30 M3?

What is the milage (can't clearly see it form the pic)?

Is the title clean or is it rebuild title?

If it's a conversion,
they must have used e30 m3 fender flares, as well as 5-lug swap parts.
Both of which are not cheap, so $3250 more than covers that price, especially if all those parts are genuine e30 m3 parts and not fiberglass and e36 5-lug parts.

You're basically getting an E30 M3 body shell for just over $3k. Not a bad deal. I wish I had the dosh and the space for a project like that.

SamE30e
03-24-2009, 12:14 AM
It's an awesome project car, if I was looking for one and wasn't poor, I'd do it. Great deal though. I know someone had a spare S14 on here and a sport interior isn't hard to come by.

But why a M10.. WHY?!?!?

theox69
03-24-2009, 12:24 AM
you don't even need a sport interior.
the car already has a rollcage, so you might aswell put in recaro srd's and an s14 with a 2.5L alpha-N stroker -- make it a track beast with coilovers.

bimmerjoe
03-24-2009, 12:41 AM

03-24-2009, 12:57 AM
Now that the VIN has been posted, It's legit. I was getting a bit worried when i seen the m10 and non-sport seats.

I wouldn't even bother with making this a street car. Throw in a s52, do up the suspesion/brakes and you're good to go to the track. No matter how you slice it as long as it's clean its a steal.

Thanks for all the interest on this forum, guys. As of today, the car is still available. Of course it is a genuine M3, I'm glad the VIN has convinced most doubters. :) I will be up front about everything about this car to ensure that anyone who buys gets no surprises. That being said, I bought this car as a project and promptly put it in storage, so I have not inspected things very closely on it. I put it up at $3250 because I think that is a fair price and these cars are none to plentiful. It does have a rebuild title from BC which probably makes it a better candidate for a fun modded street car or track car than sinking a bunch into it to make restore it to original. If anyone wanted to mod an E30 M3 to be faster than an E46 M3, this would be the car to do it with since the S14 is gone. Anyway, potential buyers can contact me via nfast@mts.net or call 204-797-4274. One inquiry informed me that it would be much cheaper to ship if the car could be driven on and off the truck. I would work on getting it running again to try and ensure that it could.
