I'm signed up too. Don't know if they choose randomly or some thought goes in. I'm 44 yrs old, driving a 9yr old midsized car so I gotta think I look like a good "potential" customer. They are going to have 335d there. Curious to see what kinda bottom end "grunt" it's got.

I too wonder what they choose by.

Do they send out invitations immediately or all of them going to be sent out at a specific time? I've registered but haven't heard back from them yet.

My bro did this the year the e90's came out. He said he loved it, but at the time he preferred the e46 over all.

i've signed up to these things a couple times, never got picked. We'll see what they say.

03-19-2009, 12:13 AM

I too wonder what they choose by.

They asked: age, what are you driving now, when are you replacing it and whats on your shopping list. I'd guess they are looking for who's a good lead based on the answers. I expected a salary range question...(ie/ 40K-60K, 60K-80K, 80K-100K, above 100K etc...). You can shop all you want but they need to know there's at least a chance we can actually buy a car.

I hope lots of us get chosen, its sounds like a cool day.

I went to the x-drive event when they launched the e90's... it was fun. Looks like this will be the same thing.

You can just lie on the questions they asked, so it doesn't really serve much of a purpose

Did the xDrive comparison event a few years back.
Hopefully I qualify again. The parents did buy an X5... :-)

i think they look at who's lease is coming up, because i got invited to teh x drive thing a few years back, and that was a few months b4 my e46 lease was up.

Well im 18 with a 1998 audi a4... the only think attractive I find is that my a4 might be just on the border of them thinking that i may want to consider a new car, however my age might shoot that down.

Id be pumped to go to this thing if they picked me.

The Vancouver event is Friday, April 17th to Sunday, April 19th.

I got the email last night at 9:48pm PST and it was completely booked by 11:55pm so make sure you register right away.

The Toronto emails should be arriving in the 1st or 2nd week of May.
