I was wondering if there are decently priced appraisal compaines in Hamilton and around what it would cost for the appraisal from experience. It's for an e30.

I had the appraisal done for MTO (they have form for it) and had MTO make me a copy with their stamp - insurance accept it no problem.

I've been using Maurice's services for past 9 years.
He's mobile but I don't know if he'll travel to Hamilton.

You'll have to let them know what policy it's for.
e.g. 19 or 19A policy
19 = insurance accepts initial value from appraisal but it begins to depreciate year after year
19A = agreed upon value without depreciation
It would also be good to find out what rating your car is under through your insurance. There is a value range that your car fits in.
If your appraisal doesn't pass the overall value your car is rated at then your insurance premium shouldn't go up. This happened to me 9 years ago with my E12.
