I've got a couple days off this week and I'm seeing some warmer temps being forecasted *rockout*. I was thinking about throwing the summer wheels back on. Some thoughts?

A little too early in my opinion. I usually put mine end of April, start of May.

way too early bro. winters outperform summers below 7'c

Way too early.

Way too early IMO. At least wait til its consistently in the single digits. I'm probably gonna put them on late March/early April.

Soo true..... :D

If you drive everyday, then yes, I think there still is a good chance of a freak snow storm.

It's March 4th. What are you thinking?

I love how a few nice days get everyone's hopes up. It's March 4th. I usually try to be optimistic about these sorts of things, but... well, it's March 4th!! Winter is not over yet, despite the heel-clicking going on. Just because the temperature peaks over the 0° mark doesn't mean it won't go back down.

i say do it because youll be the first cool person on the road

Too many damn potholes out there, even if it was warmer i wouldn't do it, unless your not afraid of benting a rim.

03-04-2009, 03:51 PM
^^exactly. Im not taking the e36 out until its better. Hopefully the a/c works in my e30:rolleyes:

you people are all weak! Throw those summers on and go ballin! :P I dont know its a rough call, If youve waited this long with them off better wait a few more weeks just to make sure the weather stays in the +side!

03-04-2009, 04:37 PM
Yea the pot holes are more of a concern than the weather this winter! Roads are horrible all over the city.

03-04-2009, 09:23 PM
Do it up ur gonna b sew cool!!!111!!

Too early , too cold for summer tyers , saw some clown today in a Mustang Gt skid his way into a traffic light pole seems he thought the summer set he bought last July were OK ... wrong learned the hard way , just shook my head , well at least he didn't pile into the back of my car , wait, potholes are every where and snow is on its way again.

I would wait until the temps. stay above 7 degrees in the day and evening at least... and no more salt on the roads (so no night-time dips below 0 with ice/rain).

weak sauce, mine have been on for a month now :P, im ahead of the game.

I know the weather has been nice and it always is around this time and then.....we get the last snow dump..I was debating on bringing the e30 out as well.

Too early. The nights are too cold.

Right now I'm only driving the vert (performance summers only!) in the day, and only if I see the thermometer reads at least 6c in the morning. Drove it yesterday all day and this afternoon, but tonight I took the 5 with the winters.

Stay safe.
