Had KHF (http://www.khf.ca/) do the install and set-up. $5400.00 later, panty-soaking incredible sound! If any of you want to hear it, i'll be happy to demo it at the Friday night meets.

I'd love to hear it. That amp looks almost identical to the Genesis 5 channel.

this setup is pretty damn good, the components are amazing, and there's just the right amount of bass, though I know it could have been turned up much higher it was on just high enough that shit wasn't getting shaking everything in the car.
Now that sounds like some system , cant wait to hear it , Those lads at KHF know their biz , Very happy with the job they did on mine Alpine cda 9886 with sound expander [Clean Sweep] ,Full speed cable , usb and ipod connectors Alpine 6 changer in the Gbox , Apline Pdx 4 100 amp , Focal Polyglass speakers 6 , JL Audio W6 cvs 11 org sub in Pro Wedge system, Coming this year the bluetooth modual for the hands free phone , maybe even another 100 amp to drive that sick sub. Thanks for the tip on these guys Randy *th-up* A vast improvement over the ten year old stock HK system , full mid range thats smooth as silk , highs that are brilliant but not over the edge , time correction with the Clean Sweep is right on target no matter where one sits although it is set up for the driver to get maximum effect , and the sub sonics pound me into the grotto, Led Zepplin and Grand Funk never sounded like this before! Congats on your new wall of sound enjoy but careful with your eardrums, looking forward for the demo. Cheers .

I thought upside down amps was a no no?
Maybe its just older amps.

^^ it is just older amps (I looked into it). Really, it depends where the amp's circuit board is located with relation to the capacitors. Older PheonixGold/PPI/Soundstream were prone to melting cold-solder on the boards.
Good Stuff Randy.
Im also in the middle of building a system, old school though.
I thought about getting an A5 3 channel amp, but I decided to get a 4 channel ESX Quantum Q120.4. One of the most versatile amps ever made (only 1 year in 1997) It's actually built by the legend Stephen Mantz @ Zed audio.
Very Highly Sought after amps by Germans and Italians.
Just made a thread here about my install consisting of the legendary Alpine 7909, ESX amp, Kicker s10c solobaric sub , Kicker R6 mids and nd25a tweeters :)
