Hi guys,
The check light for coolant is on.
Is there a post or a website that describes what steps should be taken in order to find the problem?
thanks!

Check your coolant level would be a GREAT first step.

next, put a piece of tape over the light
or buy a new sensor(fits in the coolant resevoir).

You can also remove the sensor from the tank, clean it and reinstall. If you're handy, check the two pins with a multimeter and see if it switches when the float moves. If it doesn't , replace it. $35 part.

OK, so the light is only connected to the sensor in the tank, not to anything else?

Ok, coolant level is a bit low, I will buy some later today.
I would like to clean the sensor also. Do I only have to turn the black plastic piece to remove it?
What should I use to clean it? Water? Alcool?
thanks

OK,
I've added some coolant and I've cleaned the sensor.
The light is off, so I guess I solved the problem.
Thanks to all for the advice.
