hi guys

I found a LED piece from auto part store (pacific mall) and I was thinking if this piece can fit into our cars.

I gave it a shot and it works very well.

Each LED pieces are exactly same as LEDs from LED angel eyes so pretty much everyone knows how bright they are.

My kit comes with 3 different adaptors and we need to use the adaptor from the middle.

here is our reading light piece (I changed the bulb and brightness of that bulb sucks)

Before you do anything remove those three pieces by turning them gently

You also need to take the metal piece out in order to put LED piece inside.

You just need to push circled part gently then it will pop out.

Also remove those two screws in order to take out the front glass piece

Now attach LED piece there (double side tape was attached but make sure you attach them firmly by using any kinds of glue because adhesion of the tape was really bad)

Now once you put the adaptor it's quite long so it won't fit. Now you need to cut side walls.

make sure you cut the side walls as short as possible.

install all the parts together

Seriously this LED piece is damn bright and I might able to fit this LED piece to the rear reading light as well.

Thanks for looking.

Nice writeup, and install. Do you find that the LED lights emit light only in one area of your car, like a beam? I noticed all the LED's are lined up to aim in the same direction, thats why im asking. Thanks for sharing.

What's that hanging from your mirror?

You really shouldn't be one to talk.

Great writeup though!

I know what you are asking. It doesn't just light up one spot. (not like a laser)

It lights up your gear area ah... i don't know how to explain but it doesn't just like up one spot. One thing I can tell you for sure is it is many times brighter than OEM orange bulb. *th-up*
