Hey guys, just a quick question as to what the hell this wire is. I bought the car with the wire taped up and unplugged, so I have no idea what it is used for and if I should leave it as is or proceed to connecting it.
The picture is attatched below.
Let me know.

looks like the cruise control cable.
This is where it normall is, and what it looks like hooked up properly.

looks to me like the little auxilary fuse box that is normally beside the main fuse box - i've never figured out what the fuses inside do. the wires arent connected to anything!

it was hardwired at the factory for the ejector seat option, it was very common option, too bad yours doesnt have it. I dont know how id go on without mine

Take off the tape and see what the connector looks like. you can always retape it!

plus you'd want to have it wrapped in electrical tape or something waterproof

+1 what Greg said, its that little auxiliary box deally on the side of the fusebox... I heard once thats where the in car phone would have been hooked up. I had to buy a plastic cover for mine since it was missing when I got my car. Got it at the dealer, was like 5 bucks, nothing crazy. Mine has two wires/connectors in it IIRC.
