View Full Version : e46 M3 - front splitters or lip?
02-13-2009, 06:33 AM
Hey, just looking for your opinions guys.
I have an '02 M3: I am thinking of either getting a front lip or splitters for it (CSL style?)
Just wondering if you guys could chime in on which I should go for?
Pretend cost is only a minor issue

I'm in love with the Strassentech lip.
I wish they made it for the mtech2 bumper as well

IMO lips look way too rice...
I'd go w/ splitters.

Tires23 sells KW coilover. Unfortunately, due to the exchange rate you are going to pay through your nose for it.
For perspective, my friend had his suspension replaced last year with a set of KW V2's for $1700 CDN including taxes, current price is about $2400 in and around the GTA.

i gave tires23 a call, he wanted around $2500.
rennspec after conversion and shipping they are selling it for $2200

Who did you speak to? Ask for Billy, very well maybe that he gets a higher price due to his supplier, really depends which supplier the shop uses.
$2200 isn't bad though, better than $2500. Not as good as last year.
You might actually be better off ordering it in the States, shipping it to someone you know near the border and take a drive down to go pick it up.
