Does anyone know how much it would cost to reupholster my front tan leather seats? Backs are pretty good, but would consider doing it if they didnít match perfectly.

Oh itís a 1995 325 convertible

$2,000 to $3,000 depending on the leather. I was getting quotes last year for the 325Is.

Wow, that seems like a lot. Someone mentioned a $1,000 -$2,000 a while back, but I donít know who. I did see an advertisement for seat covers, which look absolutely beautiful for $500.

I have no idea about leather quality, just looking for something to look nice. The Car is a 95 and only drive 10k a year so durability is probably not a significant issue. Mind you it is a convertible and the sun can be rough on it.

$2000-$3000 is far too much; it's not a show car.

For standard seats, it's about $1000.00-$1500.00. This usually gets you simple OEM looking seats.

Any recommendations on where to get this done for that price?

I'll get this information.

I have come to the realization that the car I'm restoring needs a new interior.
I'm going to get some quotes. I just can't remember the names, but will have to get it from some friends who deal with them daily.

I will PM once I have it.

($3000 for a Regular car is way too much money).

Thanks and I agree with you.
For $3gs I'd rather put in a s52 in.

Vaders came on e36 m3 coupes and yes they did come in tan. I would strongly recomend vaders before spending all that money to redo your old seats. This way you get upgraded seat and leather!

Check out Shamiah's Custom Interiors, this guy is pretty famous for doing some killer upholstery work rivaling a certain Italian marque. He's in the KW area. Popular among the custom Dub scene. His stitch work is impeccable. Give him a shot, not all upholsterers are the same. Just because you can recover a couch doesn't mean you have the skills to upholster a car seat, it's a little more technical.
