Does anyone have any experience with this, any idea what the costs are? How long did it last before you noticed peeling or anything.

i've always used regular car paint for my rims. I have done the one of my girlfriend car 5 years ago, and no peling at all.

I'm sure they can.....call the number on the contact page and ask for Jeff. Tell him your a friend of Brandon's from son240 (240sx club). Dunno if that can be an incentive but ye, give him a shout.

I'm currently in the process of getting quotes from a few different rim shops. I'll post back when I have some prices.

This is what I got:

Custom Powder Coating Inc
263 Barton St
Stoney Creek, ON , L8E2K4
(905) 664-3549
$80 to sand blast all 4 rims and $80 per rim for power coat and clear coat. Forgot to ask about lead time and taking tires off. Sketchy because he said that wheel wizards sends him some of their work sometimes (the guy at wheel wizards said that they don’t)

Byers-Bush & Jet Kote
1300 FEWSTER DR., MISSISSAUGA
(905) 625-4334
$75 per rim for chemical strip and powder coat. One week lead time. Forgot to ask about taking tires off

Wheel Wizards Rim Refinishing
683 Barton Street East
Hamilton, ON L8L 3A5
(888) 468-2202
$130-150 per rim. Includes taking the tires off and putting them back on, chemical strip, and powder coating. One week lead time. Open Saturday 9-noon.

Rim Doctor
2295 Kingsway Drive
Kitchener, ON N2C 1A3
(519) 748-5914
$170 per wheel. 3 days lead time. Painted. Sand, prime, sand, basecoat, clear coat. Forgot to ask about taking tires off. The guy I talked to said that he doesn’t know anyone that powder coats a wheel which is weird because a lot of places do.

Wicked Wheels
36 Fieldway Rd
Toronto, ON M8Z 3L2
(416) 696-8534
$125-$150 per wheel. They refinish wheels for BMW Canada (I know that they do rims for BMW Waterloo)
