looking to sell my car and was wondering what its worth

it is a 97 328is m package with 227k
upgrades include audio install, m3 mirrors, depo headlights, m trim, ac schnitzer front lip, clear lights all around, bbs rx rims, brand new real m3 shift nob

car has every option available except hk speakers

no rust anywhere on the car it is schwartz black

cutch was replaced about 15k ago by dealership

currently the abs and traction are out due to i believe a wheel speed sensor and last week had some moron back into me so bumper is cracked on drivers side other than that the car is sound and pulls like crazy!

I'd say with all the upgrades a good 7-8k. The amount of KM's will always throw people off. Doesnt matter how well it was taken care of, thats a hell of alot of k's. Really, I would have to see some pics, or better yet see it in person, but I really doubt you could get more than 10k for it and thats probably pushing it. Everyone is looking to sell and not many people are looking to buy, the car market at the moment is not the best.

I know the market is really down right now

If you fix the ABS issue, 7k maybe... but I think you're very realistic around the 5k mark.

If you want to maximize your gain, replace all the parts with stock ones and sell the upgrades seperately.

A) you get more money

Has it been winter driven? Please post pics if you're actually selling.

Seriously, part it out. You will never see the returns on your mods unless you get super lucky and find a buyer who is willing to pay the dough for the mods.

these days I seem so have no time at all to take the car apart and change things around, id rather sell everything together just to make it easier plus the mods are all tastefull so i'm not to worried about people being deterred by them

It's not that they will be deterred by them, I bet they make the car look much nicer, but unless you find a buyer that can and will actually appreciate them you won't get what your car is really worth. I can tell you without a doubt that if you post those mods for sale seperately on the boards there will be alot of people interested... Me being one of them. lol
