I recently discovered this forum and joined up right away - being an ON resident - just purchased an 98 M3 with about 45 KM but with some unresolved issues (got tired of fixing those friking 328 cabrio roof repairs)
not sure I made the best decision but time ansd $$ will tell
- the M sure goes like hell!

will post a few pics as soon as I get a decent day to pull her out of the cave - she's Dakar Yellow coupe with an Alcantra interior (per my research)
- weather sucks lately for driving so I'll wait till springs sprung to get more decent shots

I didnt pay that much for it knowing that it was a rebuild title (hit rear left) and that there was a good chance I would have to spend some xtra $$ on it. My mech said the rear looks ok, but a crappy paint job.
So far - new Mich Pilot Sports, new battery, fix headlights (ballast), fix "chk cntlr signal rear tailights, new speakers, new Alpine amps, new surround sound processor

Upcoming (spring) repaint same color, wait for the next thing to break

thanks Screamer - will post some pic after I get the paint work done - I want the car to be as understated as possible for a Dakar (dont need the attention) so I'm losing the spoiler (maybe for an E46 version) along with the window tint
