hi guys

IS this DIY really possible??

This guy is from korea and he owns 325ci.

now.. he made e90 key + engine start button working on his e46 325ci..

where can I find this DIY??? he claims that he used a key from M6

I would think it involves

1) modify E46 lock cylinder that accepts the remote key and cover with modified E90 key dash piece (gut the cylinder so you can turn it freely or make it so its stuck at on/start position)

2) put E46 key transponder into the new remote key
3) wire the dash button to start circuit that runs the engine starter
4) press the start button, if the transponder antenna detects the transponder chip in the new key as it is in the slot, the car will start

step one would be the hardest to get everything fit together in the E46 lock cylinder
