Hmmm, I dun think they are for E39.
And yes, they are cheap aftermarket lights, produce horrible output.

i had them wired in for my e36
and they worked, except they wudnt fit
my mechanic told me they were for an e39
the lights are projectors and thier output was great

Those look like the 2 door specific. It wont work if u have a coupe and try it on a sedan and the other way around. The corners on the sedan/4 door are alittle longer than the 2door/coupe ones. But they are specific.

think my mechanic was on crack trying to put them in
lol

part number is BME36-HL
so i guess its for an e36
gonna have another go at instaling them on the weekend
but still willing to entertain any resonable offers
