View Full Version : E60 Winter Tires on ASA wheels

The E60 is gone, and I just realized I still have the winter tires and wheels. Details:

Tires: 245/40QR-18 Dunlop Graspic DS-2 DSST CTT Runflat
Wheels: 18x8 ASA JH3 Silver

Bolt Pattern: 5 x 120
Offset: 18mm

Asking price: $450

These came from Tire Rack new in January 2005. I bought them from the original owner in October 2006. The first owner drove 1 1/2 winters and I drove on them for 2. I put about 6,000 km on each winter - not sure about the first guy. The wheels are replicas of style #124 which were standard on E60 545i sport package. These looked much better than the 17" style 138's that came on my car. There is some minor rash on one wheel and a couple of scratches but no gouges and nothing very noticeable. There is some wear on the inside tread on 2 of the wheels - I tried to photo it as shown. Tread still decent for a couple of winters. I didn't put winters on the first year I had the E60 and wished I had after putting these on as it made a noticeable difference - I never had any snow problems, even in heavy snow.

These worked fine with the tire pressue monitors though I had to reset the first time I had them installed. I do know they fit any non-x E60, but no, I don't know if they'll fit any other models.

Reply / PM / email stunzzf at yahoo dot com. I'm in Burlington and can be here days or evenings. Spread the word - thanks guys.

Clarification - these will fit any 5-series (525i, 528i, 530i, 535i 545i, 550i) model year 2004 and newer. These won't fit ix cars as the offset is different. I'm unsure about other models - probably some guys here would know better than I would.

Asking $450 obo.

Will this fit E46 M3?

IIRC those wheels are ET20 all around, so they will be pretty tight in the front, since the OE 18x8's have ET47 up front. So basically the wheel will be 27mm further out and may interfere with the fender. The rear will fit fine. Your best bet is to try them on, I know that the stock 18's sit far inside the fenders, and there are people running the 18x9 rears (et26) all around with 265 r-comps, so you *should* be fine but try them on anyway.

hmmm nice if they fit an m5

They should fit. Again, test fit them first, it's always tricky with replicas, but the offset is bang on and tire rack carries 18x8 et20 wheels for winter use on m5's, similar wheel (replica of same style oem wheel).

Thanks for helping with the answers Axxe. I believe you're correct that these will fit the E60 M5 - unless BMW did something different, I can't imagine they won't.

Zigfread - perhaps check out wheels on tirerack.com to see what they show for the offset for the M5- this might help answer the question for sure.
