Hey guys. I have a set of almost NEW winter tires. They are 225/45/17. Made by Triangle. Its a Brand from China they are #1 in china and number 8 across the board for u.s tires.

Im looking for $360 They are 95% there the nipples are still on the sides

I've seen these trianlgle tires when I was at a tire shop a couple of weeks back, are these the ones with the thread pattern similar to blizzaks? They look nice, dunno how similar the performance is though...

do you guys think its good to have 225 by 17 winters? I was always told 195 by 15 would give you best traction in deep snow

it would be better to use a smaller tire being 195 yes.. it would cut threw the snow.

But a lot of the newer cars are running tire just as wide or even wider and they do perfectly fine. So.. between the compound in the winter tire + the closly cut tread they will be perfectly fine.
