I'm trying to see if there's a market for my car in ontario that's comparable to my local one. Here e30's still hold a fair bit of a value, but I think a rarer one might fetch a bit more coin there than it might here. I'll be in ontario end of nov/early decemberish so avaiable to see then. Forgive me if this is a crap thrown together for sale add because I've never done this.

1987 325i unbadged euro

4-door
JUST rolled 100k today
Imported early 2003 I believe, history unkown before it landed with 79k. Two owners since, both enthusiasts
Receipts totalling $2500 but much more invested through cash deals, can't proove them but the condition verifies this
No power windows, no power steering. A very bare bones car that's a lot of fun to drive.

Drivetrain

Burns no oil, clutch done 15k ago with oem replacement, new plugs and wires, used cat installed due to a small hole in previous one. German tuner "G-power" exhaust, makers of the fastest street bimmer. Unchipped due to odd dme, but have spoken with mark d and can run one of his chips with another dme. Short shift installed with all new bushings. All fluids done when purchased 6k ago, oil done again less than 500km with royal purple synthetic.

Suspension & Brakes

Unfourtunately I'm not sure of the springs and shocks, I know it has an un-cut drop but cannot clarify how much and what rates. Replaced pads and rotors with parts which were near brand new from a Miller Performance car which met it's end after only days on the road. Drilled and slotted, rears still have cross hatching. Done 2k ago with full bleed. Platin 16x9 wheels which do have some rash from previous owner, wraped in 215/45/16's Fulda's with 60% tread left.

Interior

This is where the vehicle really shines, front iS seats redone in perforated vinyl by a local guy, crack-free dash, flawless carpet and headliner, minor water staining on rear houndstooth seat from when a passenger "forgot" my car had no power windows. Nardi deep corn 330mm wheel and matching shift knob with shiftstyle black alcantara shift and e-brake boots.

Exterior

Original paint so it shows it's age, requires polishing a few times a year to keep it looking fresh. One dent on the hood the size of dime and another smaller on trunk. Several small chips on front driver fender from tire rub, I have a feeling the PO was running some more gnarly wheels than I currently am. All black trim resprayed with black bumper trim paint with no chips. Has had two rust spots repaired in the past and is getting another one done next week. After that it is completely rust free.

Electronics & Lighting

Kenwood mp5032 mp3 cd player, alpine SWR 1042d sub in sealed bass slamer box, kenwood amp (it's dark here and can't climb into trunk to see model, sorry) which provides more than enough power to power the sub to obnoxious levels. Optima red top

Proprone 6000k h3 hid kit installed in fogs when matched with city lights...looks absolutely gorgeous. I constantly get compliments on these and gotta thank proprone for a very good product *th-up*

Gah. i wish my e30 looked 1/8th as good as yours. Is that brilliantrot? It looks like it, but its too early i think (88 first year?)

I"m just learning about e30's, lol.

What's next?

btw, do you put a sealant on your paint after you polished it? I find usually if i polish old paint once, and put a good sealant/wax on it, it stays that way for a long time. (we'll find out, i just wetsanded/polished/sealed/glazed/waxed the iX)

Best of luck finding one, i wouldn't give you this for less than $12k if I knew it would end up as one :P

I'm not 100% sure of the color, some jackass before me removed the color sticker in an attempt to clean up the engine bay. I just polished and waxed it, but I'm going to have it done again before it heads out east with a good sealant to hopefully help with the finish.
