Hey guys well as much as i want to keep these, i have way to many bills to pay right now and i need the extra money to buy a winter beater. I love these rims and wish i could keep them and get them all cleaned up.

I also have them posted on kijiji.

price is set at 1700 because of low ballers. that price is flexible. If i get any offers under 1500 i will not reply.

This is just a side note to to those who are going to say thats to much money. On ebay there are 3 sets of 18" for sale.None of which are bmw fitment. All 3 sets are used. They are selling for a buy it now price of $2400usd+$130usd shipping to Canada. Which comes out to $3248 canadian. and thats not including duties. im asking 1700obo for the rims. I was quoted 200/rim for a complete dismount and refinish to the colour of my choice so it would cost you $2500 for a mint set of super rare 18" BBS RS wheels.
heres the ebay link

Price is high? Try finding these else where, like i said above, ebay 2400us+130us shipping. not to mention duties, and your looking at over $3500, oh yeah and btw try finding them BMW fitment. the 3 sets they have are for 240sx/supra...etc

anyways i got the quote from Precision Rim, (they do all the rims for ferrari on steels) fully dismount the rim and complete refinish, I would recommend getting new bbs stickers for the center as these are missing 2. I have someone interested but their out of province, I would much rather deal locally (or at least driving distance)

Barrels are in great shape, no dents or rash. the lips are straight, the clean is pealing and it does have light scratches. like i said in the original post, to really bring out the beauty in these rims you should have them redone

tru but refinishing a rim and repairing a rim is 2 different things. i have had tons of rm's and rs's in my time and most have needed repairing from hitting pot holes for example and benting and being 18" i figure they had really low profile tires on them and over time have seen its share of pot holes and speed bumps

These look hot on your car buddy. I say you keep them.
For those saying these are expensive, there is a site out there that sells these usually for double the OP price

whats the offset? would they fit on my 328 e36?

spoony_prelude

ET 13 All the info posted on first page. Yes they will fit your 328. depending on how low you car is id recommend rolling fenders and stretched tires. But then again these rims need the stretched rubber to really make them stand out.

on a side note, all those wheels are Super RS, they are different than the RS298 you have, Super RS they are actually use 17.5" centres, where RS298 in 18"s share same centres as 17"s but uses slant barrels on the outside. And BBS Japan wheels tend to worth more than BBS Germany.

One big difference... there's 4 sets of Super RS listed there alone.
Go try to find 1 more set of these rims in this bolt pattern/offset. Impossible.

Whoa,
I saw this thread today and didn't realize that it was old until I got to the last page.

I'm glad you decided to keep those, only because you were ripping yourself off with your asking price, if you ask me. Freshly refurbed sets are selling now for $3-4K US easily - if you can find one. If yours are straight and only need polishing I say you go to Princess auto, grab a $30 polishing kit and some sandpaper, and go to town....It's super easy. I just did the fork legs on my bike and they look amazing. And I'm not a pro by any means. You could get the wheels media blasted and have the centres painted or powder coated for $200-300 total (if you shopped around) and have a set of wheels worth substantially more than you were asking.

You'll have to run some crazy camber and possibly pull your fenders to make those work on an E36 though, no? 13mm offset is nowhere near correct for that car. In the pics you posted the fronts look like they're way out past the fenders. Just my 2 cents though.

Hey Nick, Thanks for your advice! Yeah Mine are straight although I think I'd rather just pay to have then done. These wheels were kind of a spur of the moment buy! I've always loved RS's. And as soon as I saw these I fell in love! After I bought them I realized I needed the money for a winter beater. But thankfully I managed to save up. Bought my winter/work car. And now will be able to redo these! And yeah after seeing that link you posted of some guy selling these for 4600! I'm defenatly keeping these! As for fender work, I'm planning on having my vert painted soon. So I will be pulling the fenders. And yes ET13.

Thanks for the info Nick!

It would be a shame to let those go for not so much. And anyone who says you were asking too much is on glue. Those who know, know. That's why I think I'm gonna hold onto mine for a while or maybe put them on ebay to see if I can get what they're worth. Like someone on your thread said, now's not really the best time to be selling toys, so why lowball yourself???
