IMHO, I've found the Bentley to be wrong on enough occasions that the Haynes is my primary manual of choice. The Haynes is available in PDF for free if you google it.

The Bentley is a good second resource for me, but then again, I have a laptop in the garage and just search e30tech or roadfly and 99% find the answer / walk through I'm looking for.

Just my $0.02 adjusted after inflation. :D

I have a really crappy e30 Bentley manual that I'll let go cheap if you want (crappy as in well used, I got it with my parts car and have a newer one)

pages are definately torn out but I THINK they are all there (just separated from the spine) Pages have grease marks on them but the manual is definitely readable/useable. I have been using it as my 'shop copy' with my better one to read before I go out for repairs.
LMK if you are interested.

Online resources are plentiful, but you can also pick up a Haynes manual at any Crappy Tire or NAPA
