seen avideo on youtube with a car that had the light turning on option. every time he unlocks the car the fronts would flash 3X then the fogs 1X then the halos would come on and dim out. i assuming you can set your own patterns . . . pretty sick. i would love to have that. let us know if you do get it and how it is.

it is pretty neat, but also useless, not only that but you'll burnout your lights quicker.

Go it. Installed it. Easiest install. You can set ANYTHING you like. PLUS...

... things are greyed out because I don't have it connected.

Quack: There's a few more things.

Dado: Just over two bills. You actually gain quite a few things with it. I have the "Enterprise" version. You really only need the standard. Only thing you gain with anything above is auto locking and unlocking of doors (drive 10kph+, ignition off).

Installation was dead easy. You can also control two auxiliary items if you want.

What I hoped for was turning the DRLs into fogs only. Well, the DRLs are now the low-output high beams AND the fogs. Oh well. I turned off fogs as DRLs.

Ahhh fogs as DRL would be sweet. Audi's have them like that.

So there is absolutely no way of getting it done through the program?

And now that you have yours, you could charge people to set up theirs that way you get it paid off...would that work?

What do you mean set up?

Install the eLight? We can buddy install it for a beer. There really isn't much too it.

Regarding the DRL... it can set the DRL as fogs, but not cancel the existing highbeam DRL...

I'm away next week. When are you ordering?

You need to program the box... which means you need a PC with a serial port. If you intend to program it later when it's installed in the car, your best bet is a laptop with serial port. USB to SERIAL will work. There are some cheap ones around (about 6-10 bucks)... or you can 'rent' a $45 one at Best Buy.
