Inspection I

Hi Guys,

Got my first E36 a couple of weeks ago & had an oil change, replaced pads & rotors, control arm bushings, P/S cooler assembly & outer tire rods to pass safety. When I got it, service indicator shows one green bar only, now its at inspection I.

The car drives fine & I understand service indicators can be reset. Should I bring her for Inspection I & have the oil changed again (I'm not really sure what type of oil the dealer put in), or, should I just get the service indicators reset?

Inspection one involves a bit more than an oil change

You can probably do the other stuff minus the oil change, then get the lights reset.

Sounds like your due for and inspection anyway...you might as well ge the inspection now before the winter hits...god knows you dont want something happening in -30 weather...then again you can always call and see what the boys think about your little dilema.
