anyone ever do this on their car? is it an eazy procedure? im assuming you have to raise the engine....I just replaced the left one on my car, most often thats the one that goes totally because of the constant pulling it gets but the right one should be just as easy.

It's been a year but here goes, jack up the front end and place it on jack stands. Place several 2x6s (to spread the load accross the bottom of the oil pan) on the top of a floor jack and raise it in contact against the oil pan to support the engine but at this point you are not trying to lift the engine. You will require several long socket extensions to get at the top motor mount nut from the top to loosen and remove it. Once you remove the top nut, go under and remove the two small nuts that hold the mount to the frame. Raise the jack until you can wiggle the old mount free. Slide the new mount in place, install the two smaller nuts finger tight, lower engine to the first poistion and install the top nut, finish torquing all the nuts, lower jack and supporting lumber and you're done.

I hope that helps, it took only about half an hour, but be warned it's very tight confines working with the top nut.

Thanks, doesnt seem that hard.

Actually my pasenger side mount leaked all of its oil. im thinking might as well change both since im jacking up the engine. i wonder how much dealership would charge to change them.
