So what i am thinking is cut out majority of the panel that is thier and replace it with a glass panel not sure if this has been done or not but still it will still work the same way with the tilt or full open and all that i am just going to cut out most the panel (except for maybe half inch around sides) and get a glass panel put in its place i was thinking that also tinting it would be a good idea
so any suggestions??
tint it or not??

question one is where do you get the glass from and the needed seal for it as the glass needs to be security glass did you thought about that also you would have to get the head linner designd to fit everything else.
I think for that amount of work you better of trying to get a security glass cut as whole and atached the breket's to it with the rear view mirror glue it easyer then cutting around on the metal and trying to make that work

Why not just buy the OEM glass sunroof setup? Its easier, and probably will cost less in the long run. They come up for sale from time to time on R3V and E30Tech.
