It looks like the 530 has the same flywheel as the 97 528, according to Realoem.com. (part number 21217512474)
With this in mind, can I install the 97 528 clutch disc and pressure plate in my 530 to get rid of the SAC (self-adjusting clutch) and loose about 1 pound of mass? (530 clutch kit = 14.7 lbs, 528 = 13.5)
Will the clutch be strong enough? The 530 has 214 foot-pounds of torque and the 528 has 207 foot-pounds.
Has anyone done this?
