I just bought a new 323i so I don't need this car anymore. It's a 1991 Graphite Silver 525i which I was using as a daily driver. It just rolled 190K. This car looks great and drives amazing. The engine runs perfectly and the mechanical condition is great.

- 2.5L inline 6 (1st generation m50)
- 5 speed manual
- limited slip rear end, excellent in snow
- will come with winter tires on steel rims w/ new style hubcaps
- mint gray cloth interior
- power / heated seats
- rear ski bag pass through
- anti-lock (works perfectly)
- smaller e30 steering wheel installed (much better feel)
- summer and winter floor mats
- adapter for aftermarket stereo (currently has orig. tape deck)
- bavauto cupholders
- alloy spare tire

New parts recently:
- 6 new ignition coils (cured rough idle in wet weather)
- intake boot (cured vacuum leak / poor fuel economy)
- lower ball joint, drivers side
- spark plugs
- air filter
- heater valve assembly (common problem)
- aux. water pump
- brakes, cross drilled cadmium plated rotors with PBR pads (rears not yet installed NIB)
- right front caliber rebuild
- upgraded lowbeams
- oil / filter at 188K
- spare new control arm (was sent wrong part)

Optional Accessories (available at extra cost):
- 17" BBS multipiece wheels with like new pirelli winter tires
- 16" M-replica alloys as seen in photos
- OEM BMW roof racks with ski holders

Any rust or other known problems/possible issues?? Thanks.

There is naturally some rust. The rockers are cosmetically good but have rust. I have applied POR-15 to some areas and that has worked well. Currently there are two spots visible on the car. I keep the trouble zones oiled to prevent them from spreading.

The windshield has a repaired stone chip which might be a problem for some shops when getting a safety. Also, the headliner on the sunroof is pulled off in one corner but that is easily fixed, ie, I would fix it for you if it was a big deal and the price was right.

Mechanically, the car is very sound, interior is otherwise very, very clean. The seats are wear and rip-free. It has many years of good looking cruising left, and years of beater life after that.

I have a few people coming to look at it so if you are interested, now would be the time to act. I'd much rather sell to a bimmer guy than a usedottawa / kijiji dude.

Thanks for the quick, honest response. I'll need to think about it, but please PM me your phone number if you don't mind. Cheers.

No problem.. I'm really honest so I don't have to explain it later on.

That said, this car is is better than 90% of others of that year, let alone for that price.

I'll PM you my coordinates.
