View Full Version : trying to decide between two M3 bumpers...opinions?

I know you guys have nothing if not opinions :)

Option 1-ABS plastic M3 bumper from ASP tuning with detachable lip

Option 2-PP M3 bumper from Bavtoys without detachable lip

the cost difference is negligible, the PP one is obviously superior material but doesn't come with a detachable lip, would detaching the lip for winter be essential or is it just frivolty? Its for an e36 btw. Thanks guys.

isn't ABS what the OEM is made from? I would go with that.

The ASP Tuning one is not ABS ... it's PP. It's actually a DDM bumper ... they ship directly from DDM. How much shipping did ASP quote you?

its PP? It says ABS on their website. I thought it looked exactly like the DDM, but it said ABS so I assumed :)

I forgot how much shipping was, but with the bumper on special, the total including shipping came to around 270

it would prob be even cheaper from ddm! 100 for the bumper and 100 for the shipping

ddm doesn't ship large packages unless you have a fedex account
