tony those numbers are at the rear wheels ... so 138 at the crank should be just about right... 22% loss or something like that... look at 4800rpm its just funny

Neat! Fog light indicator!

Oh yeah, 300k is awesome. Your car is in awesome shape with that kind of mileage...

Bear, what kind of drive train loss do you think you're seeing? 10-15%? I'm curious as hell to see what kind of power I'm not putting down...

well the guy told me at the place on a 4 banger it's prob 20-22% loss... the guy runing the dyno seemed to know what he was talking about

^^is your car manual? That's a little high % drivetrain loss for a stick. Not bad numbers for a 318.

ya it's manual... he said most of the power is lost in the diff and a little in the drive shaft

hmm, interesting. I know there is some drivetrain loss, but from what i had heard, low to mid 20 % drivetrain loss was generally the case in auto's because of automatic transmissions.

If my car has 22% drivetrain loss, it had 225 ft/lbs torque at the crank when it was stock, but had 172K kms. That would be pretty impressive.

Dyno type would affect the numbers too. We don't know the outside temp, humidity...I think 22% sounds high as well but the number itself isnt' as relevant as what your next step will be to BOOST them. :D

Do you know what they charge for a run Barrie? I might just pay for a couple of runs if they aren't too expensive. Also what kind of dyno is it (Dynojet, Mustang etc..)

ecuconnection

it's a mustang and you only get 1 run because they wana get as many people in the day for free ... $125hr otherwise I think someone said
