actually the 1 series was a pretty good idea. considering how the 3 series has grown in size and weight. they needed a small entry level car similar to the e30 back in the days.

ya, entry level in everything but price.... I guess they felt a need to compete against such other stupidities as the Merc B class or A3.

well, the 1 series will tap into that STi/Evo market. I'm sure those turbo junkies will love to get their hands on it. The prices are comparable.

You guys are over reacting. Judging by the pictures, whatever it is, is still years away from production. It might turn out nice or just a replacement of a current model. Last year, AMG was testing a car, which believe to be the new SL Black Series have Dodge Viper body panel attached. Is all a spy game at this stage...

Bmw is going the route audi and merc did by creating a car for absolutly every market, and every variation of each market. Its getting kinda stupid.

Hey guys We just had a BMW meeting at the office the word from BMW is that they are going with X drive only in 535 in the new genration.
No more rear wheel drive.
The 7 is also going to be all whell X drive.
