kindof silly to get sport package on the coupe, its basically wheels and seats. coupes come with sport package suspension even if you dont order ZSP.

The sport seats are worth it!!

Nice car, drove many of them (modded & stock). They have tons of torque down-low, perfect for everyday commuting through traffic. The power will get addictive and you will become accustomed to it before you know it (hence the mod-list below)

Recommendations:
1) remap (JBX, V3, AA, or new JConforti)
2) Exhaust & downpipes
3) Short Shift Kit
4) LSD

Brakes ... for self preservation! You'll be flying after the reflash.

Hey Johnny, you're getting exactly what I am! Black Sapphire on Saddle brown. 335i, 6sp and all options except active steering and cruise and pdc.

Hate to tell you but I don't think you can order a custom 2008 anymore unless your dealership has a production slot or someone gives one up; production takes a break in august. You can only buy what's on the lot in dealerships canadawide so you may have to settle for a different color or options. 2009 prices are not known and cash back expires Sept 2, however it may continue after. Rumour has it the 2009's get a newer idrive similar or better than Audi's.

Was looking for monaco blue / saddle but settled for sapphire / saddle. They had a car close to my specs in calgary so they shipped it over. It's being prepped now; pickup on Monday. Did the deal 2 weeks ago.

On the plus side, if you find one to your liking, you get the $4000 factory cash back plus another 5-6% off off MSRP if you bargain hard. I got 3% off but got the higher end of the blackbook on my 323Ci and they covered shipping from calgary and are changing the interior trim from aluminium to burl walnut.

nah, BMW factory 335i brakes are MORE than adequate to handle the extra 100HP mods I listed. Many people think that BBK's are the answer to shorter braking distances, but you rarely get enough heat in them to work on the street (unless the car you're upgrading has 9" rotors/drum setup)

I imagine a flashed 335i would be a ton of fun to drive so I see myself threshold braking here and there! *th-up*

Guess it depends on how one drives. I LFB my turboed car from time to time around speed pegged stuff and pulling back on the reins heats up the brakes nicely. If it weren't for the Brembos calipers soaking up the heat, there'd be some fade.

If you can't get more clamping power, get more swept area but that makes winter tire fitment (if applicable) a real pain.

I think members are confused, there are 2 members with the exact user name "JohnnyBlaze" which is me, and "johnny_blaze" which is the other member.

I thought this was John, too! :D
Anyways, oil service is included with the warranty you receive on a new BMW, and yes, 24,000kms is the range BMW says you can do and is whats included.

so in essence if you properly change the oil, then you get every 8th oil change for free. probably a good idea if you plan to keep the car, if its a lease it will do.

Members, NEED YOUR HELP, Do any of you know anyone at BMW Canada or in the BMW Financial?, i was supposed to get my car on June 30th 2008, but i still haven't got it. The sales rep. i got, never get's back to me or gives me a good answer. Last time i spoke to him, he told me BMW Canada hasn't got back to him. I was told that the loan hasn't been accepted yet by the Sales Manager. How long does it take to get accepted? and How do i find out the status of my application? I'm in the 3rd week now.
let me know guy

I thought the approval process was pretty much instantaneous? I can't see it taking longer than a day unless you have credit issues.

i have a clean credit record. i was told by the sales rep. that my credit is not used. Can it be due to my age?? i'm 24
