I missed it so I'm kicking myself, this should be good for the manufacturers points.

As happy as I am for BMW, this isn't how I would have wanted them to win and Hamilton deserved that win. I held my head with mouth open for like 10 seconds when that happened... I was trying to think up a reason for why he'd do that but there was none. I was impressed by Kimi's behavior. If this was Nascrap there would have been a deathmatch (between the pit crews too).

Ya, agreed, Hamilton had that one in the bag, he was owning every sector and yesterdays qualifying.

Congratulations to BMW and RC for a great race and a the lead in the drivers championship. i know they just wanted to win their first race in 2008 but i really think they can fight for the drivers championship with RC, his a great driver.

as for the Hamilton mistake, you really cant blame him for not seeing the red light. it is mounted low and with two cars next to each other in front of him it is hard to see the light, but he will pay the price with a 10 position pit lane penalty in two weeks, same for Rosberg.

The 2 cars in front were clearly stationary so even if you don't see the red light, common sense tells you to slow down. It's the pit lane....

Was that a bimmer next to Raikonnen at the red light? Narrow escape..

Exactly, wtf does the light have to do with it. You have a car that can stop from 200-0 in 2 seconds. The pit lane limit is like 100. There is a car stopped infront of you. What is the confusion or shocking surprize?

perhaps you're suggesting Hamilton was intensely focused on only one thing: hitting the correct car:D

That definitely crossed my mind. Kubica was the one on the pit lane, Raikkonen was far off it, in the garage area. How Hamilton "happened" to hit Raikkonen is curious (beyond how he hit anyone at all). I almost want to say that he saw his 2 rivals passing him after he had the race easily in the bag, knowing how impossible it is to pass on this circuit with cars even close to being evenly matched, and said ok we'll make this one a stalemate.

Watch them review the comm traffic, and find out that Dennis went on the radio and said "sorry we ****ed up kid, we'll get 'em next time, now go shove that thing right up his ass!" and get slapped with another 200 million fine.

I hate Ferrari in F1, too much politics and they are cry babies I’m glad to see BMW 1-2 and Redbull.

It was a good race, but a real stupid move there by Hamilton. I can't believe that happened, what an insane circumstance.

Glad to see Kubica win this one! He ran a great race, even had a great qualifying, so I think he deserved it. I guess you could say that it's too bad it was handed to him with most of the competition watching the race from the pits, but it was well deserved!

I like DC as a human being, which can't be said for many people he has competed against over the decades, but I think he's just outclassed. He's like Barichello - the most experienced neverwasneverwillbe, who can do a little with very much (they've both driven championship dominating cars and only ever managed to win a couple of races).

I don't, not yet anyway. He may be but he needs to show that spark. Schumacher had exhibitions of brilliance that were really unparalleled, even early on with pretty subpar cars. I remember watching him around 1993 in his Benetton at Monaco put 30 seconds on EVERYONE, then his engine blew. He also exhibits that ruthless killer instinct where he will quietly and without emotion, **** over anything and anybody to win. He also never fell into a fast car - he developed them (each time making a world championship dominator out of a heap of shit [Benetton and Ferrari] - hell he qualified 7th in his first GP in a Jordan). All the true legends of driving were like that. Kubica may be, but he hasn't shown it yet in my opinion.

^ Montoya was my favourite driver, sad that he left the F1 seen. he was not intimidated by Shumi.
