Me and my friend signed up, he got the invite, I didn't. Only pattern I can think of is that I wrote I already own a 3-series? Could that be it?

I got the invite, I've ordered my 3 but haven't taken delivery yet. I'll be there on June 22 !!!

I am in on this one as well. Is there a free parking at the old Airport area?

yep, I went to one of these "driving" events that BMW had last year at Downsview airport, and there is plenty of free parking, the parking is just on the other side of the fence where we drive the cars.

I went to the event in Montreal.

one word: AMAZING.

I love the 1 series. Handles great, LOTS of power, looks good, brakes hard and more cabin space than you imagine.

It's a very nice package overall. *th-up*

I was hoping to do the same, but I really have no intention of buying a 1 series right now and I don't look like I can afford it so I figured they wouldn't take me seriously... maybe if I roll up in a bimmer, it might be a different story.

135 for wire, fully loaded with comfort access, premium, etc... just an awesome rocket. Sure, doesn't seat 5 like the 540, but it's sickly quick.

I ordered a 128 cab for myself coming Tuesday. The car is a stripper, just sports package... will be fun. Can't pony up the difference for a 135 for me :|

I went this past Sunday (Father's Day) and aside from the rain, it was a fun event!

I wanted an 1 Series before I went on the test drive event, and after having driven one, I want one even more!

that sign up process was ridiculous. Drove one at a dealer instead. 135i cab loaded and of course with the 6 piston's up front. The steptronic shift time is a BIG improvement over the e90. Really impressed with the car, not much faster than a 335i (although we were 4 in the 135i vs 3 in the 335i)

I enjoyed driving the white 135i with all the extra performance add ons.. except the display/g force steering wheel was way over the top... but that carbon rear spoiler is a must have!!!

Yeah! I like the feel of the thick(er) Alcantara M Sport steering wheel, but seriously, how does one read the tiny display while driving? The CF spoiler, rear diffuser, and front spitter are essentials :)

Had a blast at the 1 series drive event, went to the 1pm slot and came out just before the downpour !! That 135i is a rocket !!! Has anyone used the coupon that they give you at the end ? You have a choice of a driver training course, the tire and rim insurance or a bike/ski rack for the roof of the car if you buy a new car. I've ordered my car but it hasn't arrived yet so I think I'll be able to use the coupon :) I think I'll probably pick the tire/rim insurance.

If you had a blast Victor, then pick the Driver Training.. you won't be disappointed!

Ya, I'll either pick the driver training or the tire insurance, I have no use for the bike/ski rack. The driver training usually costs $500 so that's a nice little bonus !
