I'm 90% sure I'll make it...I've just got my rear shocks to finish up. It's all apart right now, so providing I don't run into any unforseen problems I should be able to wrap it up tomorrow or Friday.

I'm not going this year, gas is too much(Adam you'll understand when you get your house ;) Need the dough for all my super duper fees before moving into my new place, and I still a lawnmower, weed wacker, snow blower...I need some more furniture and what not.. So money is kinda tight, sorry folks:( Fall cruise for Shizzle!

Pleasure takes priority over a house. I won't buy unless I know I can still enjoy the finer things in life. You can't put a price on happiness:)

Lawnmowers, snow blowers and weed wackers all take gas too. So in essence if you go on the cruise, just forgo cutting the grass one week and you'll be fine.

Nascar318is
05-22-2008, 12:08 PM
^^ Not the electric ones at 400-500$ :) But yeah they do take gas as well, but right now i'm spending $70 a week on gas now alone, to go to work and back. I'd be lucky to spend that in the weedwacker lawnmower and sno blower all year combined :) Sad Sad:( Oh well Sh!t happens...

That's right. Didn't they just double the plate fees on motorcycles?

It's not just a flat rate of $600 though? I pay $660 for insurance, so $600 seems like a bargain. :P

And no Adam, I have work to do unfortunately. Plus my car is in no shape to be 'cruisin'.

oh wicked ! how she ride?

Amazing ride! Before, it 'felt' like a big car, hard turns it would take a little to settle into the corner, and the compression over bumps would almost feel like the suspension was over compressing if that makes sense. Now it's just perfect. The car feels so much lighter and more nimble. Throw it into a corner and it just bites imediately and precisely. It's much more stable under braking too (no nose diving). It's hard to explain, but the combo of these bilsteins and the OE sport springs is fantastic. It's always had amazing lateral grip, but now I would say it 'almost' has the tossability of my old e30. And I would say it will match it once I get some bigger sway bars installed.

Well worth the broken knuckles and bruised arms from the install...:D

Oh nice adam !!
So I woke up at 4am this morning and worked till 10am this morning to fix the problem and find out where the major leak was coming from and I was just puzzled cause I couldnt see from above where the ATF was pooring out and then I stick my hand in on one of the bango fiting and sure enough I could back off the bolt with my finger AAHHHH I was soo happy and so mad at the same time ... looks like I'm going now with my car whooo!!

Brutal.

My plates were $35, and insurance is $660/per year.

Add $500 for the bike

And $800 for gear

And $330 for the course.

And $330 to safety.

It'll take a while to make up that in gas. :)

Not at these prices it won't! I filled up last night, my light had just come on and it cost me $98.00 for the gas and a pack of smokes*shiner* F*ck.

Gotta quit smoking so I can afford gas:D

anybody bringing a jack or tools by any chance?

everlast
05-23-2008, 02:11 PM
Yes, I'll load up a tool box with tools and throw the aluminum jack in the trunk. I still don't know what car I'm going to be able to bring yet.. I did a lot of work on the e30 with the fenders off last night. They're ready to be fitted now. Hopefully I can work on them later tonight. Still have to fit the bumpers, but need to paint the bumper trim first. I really should get new trim but $$.

The color appears to be very close; as close as it could be without blending imo, so good job to ottos for that. Also, it turned out they got the fenders and stuff painted LAST week, so they really stepped up to the plate.

oldskool3
05-23-2008, 04:32 PM
Jay what trim paint are you using I heard SEM is the best but I can't find it anywhere in ottawa. All I found was duplicolour at partsource.

everlast
05-23-2008, 10:22 PM
duplicolor is great, matches the factory trim well. I found sem a little flat, and was hard to find here. i got some in the states once.

duplicolor on a well prepped surface looks powdercoated.

Barrie, It's all good man. CT in Buckingham had the bulbs. And I was worng about these ones, they are not offset. But there are bulbs that have offset pins..

Thanks Anyway.
