They've been trying to sell this for at least 10 years. It's just not that special of a car anymore for the $ they want (and it was never that special to begin with to be a real collector car now).

Perhaps you don't know your history and should read up a bit first before posting crap like this.

Its one of the rarest bmw ever made, and a mid engine car to boot. The chassis was designed by lamborghini and has almost identical engine as the first generation M5. Mind you this car was introduced in 1978 so judging by your smart-ass remark its probably before you were even born.

There was a European car repair shop/used car dealer on Evans in Etobicoke that had one. What's that shop called?

i am born in 1976 thank you very much, and even though it might be engineered well, it still looks like a turd on wheels.

Not just that, it was never anything particularely special, and I agree about being ugly as sin (the bodykitted race cars were cool but not the road cars). Even for it's day - when it was finally released, it wasn't even competitive . Now it's just plain slow. The latest Camry will nearly keep up with it 0-60 and many other sedans will blow its doors off. It's BMW history but not much more beyond that (and Rudy, I'm not talking about cars like your dad's, that's a different story :) ).

Thanks. I sat in the M1 they had there like 4 years ago when I took my car there for an oil change.
