I keep thinking the dealer but I have this inkling that they're available somewhere cheaper over the net....

I buy them from a few different places over the net when I buy parts, and just stock pile them. When I need say....a suspension bushing....I get them to throw in a few oil filters at the same time for usually $5 to $10/ea give or take. It works out quite well. Especially considering the dealer wants $24 for the exact same filter.

I do this with Bavauto, Pelican, Autoparts online canada.

If you are just looking to get the oil filter though, Auto parts online canada is probably your best bet. It will come next day, and it's canadian so no extra fees.

no prob. I love that place for OEM stuff. Free shipping on orders over $75. Every time I've ordered something from them it's always here the next day too, since it just comes from Missisauga

I get my filters and some other components at BBW usually. It's on pink rd in Alymer. They have pretty good price and are local so you can get it same day.

BavAuto.. Bought a 12 pack for around $5 each.

As for Auto parts online.. my control arm is $31 more expensive then what I got from a vendor on here and it's the same make. But I will keep that in site in mind as I'm always looking for parts :)

I just fill my oil filter canister with charcoal...I figure since it works for water filters, it must work for oil right?

Drop in filter. Rinse it eh? I think I'll buy one...I have to order some belts and other fun stuff, might as well save on shipping while I'm there.

Thanks for the offer Tony, but I don't think they are the same. None of the sites show them as having the same part number...

JB Weld eh? Barry, you're nuts...
