Thinking of putting my car on the market. It's a bad time to sell with the weak US dollar and everyone buying from across the border, but maybe someone's looking for a clean Canadian car.
Car is in exceptional stock, unmolested condition.
* 1997 M3, 4 door
* Hellrot on black leather interior. Immaculate condition inside and out.
* 5 speed manual
* Approx. 122000km.
* Zero curb rash on wheels. Choice of OEM M-Double Spoke II, or OEM M-Contours.
* Canadian car. Originally delivered at Elite BMW (Ottawa). I am the second owner. Dealer serviced with all records.
* Options: power sunroof, powered/heated seats, factory alarm/keyless entry, folding rear seats.
Upgrades/replacements:
* Waterpump replaced at 110000km. Brand new OEM unit with composite impeller that is not susceptible to cracking problems of the earlier plastic units.
* OEM 3 spoke M steering wheel. Installed brand new to replace slightly worn unit that came on the car.
* OEM alarm and keyless entry.
* OEM Euro-spec 2-piece floating rotors in front, new stock OEM rotors in rear.
* OEM BMW Motorsports X-brace
* OEM Euro-spec ZKW projector headlights (no HIDs or angel eyes)
* OEM clear corners all around. Genuine BMW parts with BMW part numbers stamped on them - not "OEM style".
* OEM illuminated shift knob, connected with an OEM harness to the proper factory plug. NO wires spliced.
* OBC replaced with a brand new OEM unit.
* OEM rubber floor mats
* OEM M3 trunk mat
Modifications are listed below. Car is otherwise 100% OEM, down to the license plate bolts. Receipts to prove.
* Suspension: H&R coilovers, OEM Z3M reinforcement plates, E46 M3 RSMs.
* Brakes: Hawk HP+, Goodridge stainless steel braided brake lines. OEM Euro-spec 2-piece floating rotors in front, new stock OEM rotors in rear.
* Audio: Alpine CDA-9887 with full speed iPod connection. Connected to the factory harness using a Scosche adapter harness. NO holes drilled or wires spliced during install. Audio system is otherwise stock.
All original parts that I have removed/replaced are available and included.
Asking $24k firm. Please spare me the discussion about how they can be had for cheaper in the US - hopefully someone appreciates a truly clean, unmolested Canadian car. May be willing to lower price slightly if buyer does not want included parts/upgrades.
