I am trying to get these sold for my brother in law. He purchased these rims for his 06 BMW 325 because he wanted to go to 18's, the car had 17's originally. He has since traded the BMW in with original tires & rims, on a 2007 A4, so he is trying to sell these. These only have 1/2 a summer season of use total so are like new. Tires are Bridgestone Potenzas, not sure exactly which series, but are obviously like new and sized 225/40/18. Not a mark on any of the rims. He paid almost $3000 for this rims & tire package and is looking to get $2100 OBO. I can pass along get his contact info to anyone interested. Tires & Rims are in the Pickering area. I can be contacted at (705) 427-3600, text or call.

You might want to lower your price a little. These rims are less than 200$ each new.

i like the rims, have the same ones on my car, but 2100$ is a little pricey.

good luck with the sale.

Thanks, I see what you mean, and he will have to lower these to get them sold. I know my brother in law really did pay close to $3000 taxes in for this package, i guess once you include the mounting and balancing and such. New price is $1700, remember this rubber would have maybe 5000km's on it, and rims are in perfect condition.

for replica rims???!!!...

They do have basically brand new Bridgestone rubber on them, last time I bought brand new rubber in this size for my car it was almost $1000.

Not positive about the exact model of Bridgestone, but it's one of these shown in the attached picture group that shows the tire pricing. The other picture shows the current replica rim pricing. When you consider this package has likely 5000km's on it, I think it's fair. Add it up, and don't forget the taxes, mounting & balancing.

Please note that these Bridgestone Potenza's are the "run-flat" version of the tire.

I'll check with my brother in law, he might, as a set they have not been moving. I'll ask him, and if so post a price for just the tires.

Does anyone know if this offset/width will work with an E46 with sport suspension?

He would really rather sell these as a set, as seperating them at this point costs him even more. $1250 and no takers people? Mint rims & run flat Bridgestone's, I figure this package saves people at least $600 over new cost. Tough crowd.

It's possible that the run flats are turning people off.

I personally have no experience using run-flats, what's the negative aspect of them?

People also find them a little noisy.

Back on topic though, good luck with the sale, run flats not withstanding.

I can't imagine why a run flat tire would run louder, but like I said, I have absolutely no experience with runflats. $1250 is still a great deal for these tires and rims people.

What is the offset of the rims? Also do the rims use hub rings or is it a perfect balance fit?

The rims do not use hub rings, and I believe the rim offset is 38, but please contact my brother in law Dennis, who owns these rims to confirm the rim offset, his email is dfieldingster@gmail.com or phone him at (905) 839-5727. Evenings are your best bet to reach him at home. Thanks.

runflats are bad because the sidewalls are very stiff, this means that the ride/handling balance of a car is potentially compromised. Note that in europe at least, BMW M-cars don't come with runflats, whereas the rest of the range does
