View Full Version : What does Maxbimmer think of 2 tones cars.. roof and body different?

hey guys, i've seen a few posts on bimmerforums of some guys with e30 and e36 verts with either a white or yellow body.. and a black hardtop w/ tinted windows..

what do you guys think of that look? vert or non.. either way..

i don't have any pics.. but i'll see if i can dig some up..

feel free to comment.. and post pics if available..

It takes an extremely modified car or race car to pull it off correctly.

Personally, I would never do it myself. I like that clean look.

depends on the car, and the colours.

ScotcH's car for example. I like his paint scheme.

Yeah, I don't think it would look right on a street car ... Unless maybe a bit more subtle change, like a black/gray or something. Here is pic that shows more of the car, before all the decals went one (as it used to be ... it's just been painted again).

my hood, roof and trunk are painted black and the rest is red on my Integra... Uncle Ben must be so proud.

agreed..

and it usually works if you have the CF hood and CF trunk.. i'd look better with cf roof overlay..
