smart cars are fun, but having a stupidly fast one, idunno.
i remember driving around anthony's convertible smart car, and talking shit to this guy with a souped up mazda 3.

it is really cool, but the conversion kit for this is about $16,000, almost the price of a new Smart car, it would be fun if someone had the cash to burn.

Thanks Ted for the link.. i've had my eye on this conversion ever since I took delivery of the car. The video link you posted was actually a really bad "butcher" job. There is absolutely no suspension on that car.. the motor is solid mounted inside the cabin and a prehistoic chain/sprocket powering the solid rear axel with no differential (hence the ease of drifting)... essentially a full sized go-kart. A proper conversion is linked below (cost $16,000+). 4hr install time.. all bolt-in design.
