Hey
I m thinking of purchasing this car. Its a 1986 325E. 5sp. Low mileage. Its my first e30 so I don't know much about them nor how much its worth. Let me know what you think....
Its got a lot of mods to it. Eibech springs, front and rear bumpers, summer and winter rims and tires. Its been painted. Back door has been combined with the body. Interior is in great shape.
Tx in advance. Any help is appreciated.

Please define "low mileage" for us....

Personally, I dont like the fact that the rear doors and sideskirts were molded to the car....fint out if those dorrs were welded in place or bondo'd up...if they were bondo'd then they probably get cracks very shortly...

other than that it looks decent...id change a few things but that me...Id say its worth between $1800-$3000 (high side) depending on mechanical condition GL

Worth 1500 - 1800 if the MECHANICALS of the car are in good condition the bodywork is horrid and there has been a light front hit. I would lowball lower.*wave*

How have those doors not cracked??

This takes everything I know about body work and throws it off the CN tower.

I would stay away from it, because of the bodywork (trying to make it normal would mean a lot of work) and overall look. Find yourself used 2 door and work on it - don't look for mint e30.

There is a way to make it work. Spot weld the door the body in few spots and fill the gaps with lead - grind the welds, sand and instead of bondo use sandable primer (20+ coats) - it will not crack unless it flexes or is hit by something.

Led! Your old school. (based on what I have read anyway :P)

But do you think that this car has it done that way?

Anyway shaving that much of an area requires some skill to do it proper, lots of dudes who shave that much on trucks either end up with a lot of slight panel warpage that takes forever to fix, or it cracks a a few years down the road.

why don't you look for a stock e30 thats in really nice shape?

mostly ive heard horror stories after people buy already modded cars,

plus people on this board could get you parts for a decent price so you can mod the car yourself

Lead works great ! *rockout*

I am a little old school because I learned from older guys working on their cars.

I don't think the guy did it the old school way but rather used bondo.

I am curious why he closed off the rear doors - how will he access the fuel tank pump if his front seats don't fold ?

Is it worth 2000 properly certified and etested???? Under 200xxx kms, that's what the uvip and carfax shows.

It's hard to put a value on a car like this. As mentioned by others, I'd opt for a good condition E30 instead of one that's 'questionable' like this.

lmao e30 kid, i was laughing pretty hard there. and uhhh the seats may fold down as they said, but ud still have a BITCH of a time trying to get out because the door is much shorter. So this is a hazard.

"If no body cares about my opinion why did u take time outta stroking your cock in his welded back doors to reply? stop playing the "its different" card, what if he has passengers back there and theres a fire? yah, didnt think of that while being "different" eh????"

lol dam, just realized maxbimmer is a whole different bread:D

This car is a home made version of the car from Death Proof with the main difference that "guests" sit in the back.
