Years
ago a group of close friends came up with an idea to start a
BMW-only car show geared towards hardcore BMW enthusiasts. The
car show included a leisurely drive through a mapped out section
of gorgeous southwestern Ontario. As the attendance numbers
grew, more than one "cruise" had to be organized, which worked
out perfectly because people were driving into Mississauga from
as far away as Pennsylvania.
This group of close friends included (from left to right in pic)
Kevin Kukkonen (Limehouse, ON), David Sinodhinos (Niagara Falls,
ON), and Randy Sparre (Mississauga, ON), ironically, all of
which owned '88 BMW 3-series (respectively parked cars in pic).
To make the show more appealing for everyone, Bimmercruise
decided to have the sponsors contribute money for necessities
(awards, website hosting and advertising costs) in order to
maintain free attendance and participation for our respective
spectators and competitors.
